Leflore Family Mission

Our mission is to continue acknowledging our ancestors and praise God for the bountiful blessings that He has bestowed upon us. We shall never forget the footings laid by our Leflore ancestors who struggled for us to remain united as one great family. Our Vision: We are a family in pursuit of excellence who share family values. Our vision is to communicate with one another, preserve and share our ancestors' history, give honor to our elders, support and attend family reunions, protect and educate our youth, and live in a way that reflects the Leflore family heritage.

The Leflore Legend is a newsletter and a database created to help Leflore youth and adults through networking.
The Leflore Legend is being hosted to help Leflore Families, Scholars, Historians, Professors, Teachers, and Students to further their knowledge and understanding about how their Leflore ancestors of the Mississippi Valley helped in the development of America.
The Leflore Legend will do all it can to document and share Leflore family histories.
The Leflore Legend will attempt to explain how our ancestors helped to supply food for the men, women and children of the Mississippi Masala's trail of tears.
